I am a qualified Medical Herbalist practising in Brighton & Hove and Peacehaven. Home visits are available for Brighton and the surrounding areas (Hove, Woodingdean, Rottingdean, Saltdean, Portslade, Patcham, Preston and Withdean) and I have clinics at Yoga Haven in Hove, Brighton and Peacehaven Chiropractic in Peacehaven.
Herbalism is still the major form of medicine for 70% of the world's population. With centuries of traditional use and increasing numbers of modern clinical trials backing up this holistic form of treatment, more and more people are choosing to be treated with herbs. Herbalists use herbal preparations and dietary and lifestyle advice to help the body heal itself by promoting balance, easing symptoms and enhancing vitality.

Peacehaven chiropractic is hosting a Good Deed Week from the 23rd to the 27th of August to encourage positive interactions within the local community. There will be an art exhibition for charity all week and talks by the Mayor of Peacehaven and local charities on the 25th of August. I will be holding a nutrition and health information clinic for single parents and families on low income on the afternoon of the 24th of August. See the website for more information and to get involved.

St John's wort update: NHS annual review showing that St John's wort is as effective as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (such as citalopram and Prozac), but with fewer side effects.
